Hiking In Cheticamp Skyline Trial -  30 Min Away

The Skyline Trail is a seven-kilometer, looping, hiking trail at Cape Breton Highlands National Park in Nova Scotia, Canada. It lies on the western side of the Cabot Trail, near French Mountain's summit. This trail is well known for its scenic views!!

Margaree Salmon Fishing

The Margaree River, located in Inverness County, is the crown jewel of salmon fishing in Nova Scotia and is open from June 1st to October 31st. Anglers can also enjoy fall salmon runs in Middle River and Baddeck River in Victoria County during October. 

 

The river is open from June 1st to July 14th, and then from September 1st to October 31st.

Stroll to the Margaree River

Cajun Cedar Log Cottages are nestled in the heart of Margaree Forks, on the famous Cabot Trail.  We are across the road from the Margaree River, walking distance from the McDaniel fishing pool.  The river is also ideal for swimming.  We are surrounded by sandy beaches, only 8 minutes drive away with beautiful sunsets.
